On the trail at Ankeny NWR, Caravaners Rudy, Don, Lori, John F. in a "Teachable Moment" with folks that we met on the trail. The trees were loaded with migrating neo-tropicals. |

Walking out the boardwalk through the flooded forest of Oregon Ash brought us up close to Garter Snakes in the trees and a Muskrat. |
Where are the Black Capped Chickadees? Ankeny became another refuge that was hard to leave. |
